The study examined the effects of activities by using the picture book related to the disabilities on disability awareness and acceptance attitude toward young children with disabilities. The participants were 180 children without disabilities who are in the kindergarten. They were assigned to an experimental or a control group, with 90 children in each group. The activities using the picture book related to disabilities were conducted 12 times for 6 weeks, about 30 minutes each. The pre- and post-test were conducted to investigate the change in children's disabilities awareness and acceptance attitudes. The results were as follows: 1) the activities by using the picture book related to the disabilities had a positive effect on the disability awareness of young children. 2) the activities by using the picture book related to the disabilities had a positive effect on the acceptance attitudes of young children.
