The aim of this study is to examine the public finance structure of fisheries and to suggest reorganization direction. this study used the expenditure budget data of Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries for 2007-2016. The result indicated that public finance of fisheries increased by three major budget program(Development of Fishing Village and Harbor, Fisheries Business Support, Management & Creation of Fisheries Resources). The total budget of these budget programs were forming approximately 66.7%. In unit budget analysis, the section of capture fisheries, aquaculture, fisheries resources, fisheries research, food industry, fisheries export showed expansion of budget. The value chain analysis revealed that the public finance of fisheries have focused on production stage. and production stage accounts for 83.5% of the total budget. The production stage budget is made of financeㆍeducationㆍtechnology support for fisherman and production environment support(fisheries resources, fishing harbor and fishing village). It means that the budget structure was aimed at supporting cost reduction of fisherman and increasing fisheries production.
