The acquisition of clitics in Spanish has been studied in the last years (Guasti 1993, Schaeffer 2000). There are two types of the aspectual clitic SE. The first is the clitic SE associated with the achievement of a goal. And the second is the type of clitic SE with the DP. It cooccurs with affected objects in transitive structures. Rigau (1994) analyze this SE as a benefactive clitic which will always appear in aspectual contexts of perfectivity. And according to Sanz (1996), the clitic mentioned requires “telicity”. The purpose of this paper is to examine the properties of the constructions with the aspectual clitic SE. We will suppose that this clitic SE is derived from the Lexical Syntax.
