Korean society now has entered a multicultural society rather than single cultural society in the midst of the localizing world. In 2015, the number of multicultural immigrants increased to 1,569,470 and due to this, in Korean society, lots of social and religious conflicts are occurring through multicultural immigrants. Accordingly, not only Korean society but also Korean church will have increasing tension and discord between religions if they fail to cope appropriately with multicultural immigrants’ situations and problems, so it is very important to understand diverse religions of the individuals and groups. Particularly, multicultural immigrants’ problems such as self-esteem, stress, culture shock still remain a difficult task. Since these problems will appear in diverse forms, the missionary task of Korean church becomes clear, and through case study and research, the role of missionary ministry should be carried out. This research examined the role of Christian missionary ministry for multicultural immigrants in Korea. Accordingly, this research referred to the necessity of Korean church’s missionary ministry and case study through multicultural immigrants’ types and conflict phenomena, and through this, discussed the role of missionary ministry through systematic multicultural Korean language education, missionary ministry through multicultural education of the Bible, missionary ministry through the role of the multicultural counselor, and missionary ministry through social welfare. The most urgent task of Korean church’s missionary ministry in accordance with Korean society’s unchanging interest in multicultural immigrants is to develop receptive, considerate, and specialized multicultural ministers with open mind and unsparing love working together with church members for multicultural immigrants.
