This study analyzes the characteristics of boundary and identifies the interrelationships with adjacent areas to reveal the design of the boundary through the case of Hyangchon Humansia Complex 1, on a slope more than 10 degrees of a large-scale apartment complex of residential environment improvement projects in Incheon. This study analyzes the effectiveness of residential environment improvement through the boundary of a large-scale apartment complex built as a residential environment improvement project. This process can identify various design strategies and environmental problems. However, there still remains a challenge to solve the disconnection created by the high retaining wall formed at the complex boundary.
