The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of Ttuljip`s space organization and elevation planing targeting to ‘kwangajeong’, and to determine whether that characteristics can be interpreted as an actual contemporary architectural concept. As a result of analyze, like the floor of a Kwangajeong, the ambiguous boundary and non-deterministic that appear by intentionally insert an empty space between two heterogeneous spaces can be interpreted as a technique that using void in contemporary architecture. Also, it has clear penetration along the axis, allowing visual and physical penetration. it is possible to interpret Kwangajeong has a clear penetration concept like contemporary architecture. Through this research, Hanok can be reinterpreted, classified, and replaced with a contemporary architectural concepts.
