The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of satisfaction with urban green space on family-life happiness and to examine mediating effect of family leisure on the relationship between satisfaction with urban green space and family-life happiness of Seoul citizens. This study utilized Seoul survey data of year 2021 and 39,845 citizens living in Seoul were analyzed. To test mediating effect, multiple regression analyses were used and significance of mediating effect of family leisure was tested using bootstrapping methods. Study results showed that satisfaction with urban green space had significant effects on family-life happiness. Also, family leisure had partial mediating effect on the relationship between satisfaction with urban green space and family-life happiness. Results of this study suggest that supports in a variety of aspects are needed to utilize urban green space as a space for family leisure activities.
