Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the causal relationship between performance expectations, effort expectations, social influence, facilitation conditions, usage intentions, and usage behavior.
Method: The subjects of this study were selected from the populationw ith physical disabilities. The sampling method was stratified sampling. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to people with physical disabilities who were registered in social welfare cetners for the disabled in Seoul, Chungcheong, Gangwon, Jeolla, and Gyeongsang province. Among them, a total fo 498 questionnaires were used for the actual analysis, except for 11 copies that were insincere in the questionnaire.
Results: The results of this study were as follows. The application of the UTAUT theory to sports wearable devices of physically disabled people showed that performance expectation, effort expectation, and facilitation conditions had a positive effect on the intention to use, and intention to use on usage behavior.
Conclusion: Therefore, it is judged that the relationship between the inetntion to use a wearable device and the behavior of physically disabled people is expected to be sensitive to social influence.
