Purpose: Recently, the utility of artificial intelligence speakers is expanding from the general public to the socially marginalized class. The purpose of this study is to see the effects of home training for children with articulation disorders using artificial intelligence speakers. Methods: Two participants with errors in fricative sound were selected. The artificial intelligence speaker uses WA and DTW algorithms to recognize and evaluate articulation errors. WA and DTW were applied to Kakao speaker ASR and used for training. Ten training words were selected, training was conducted through an artificial intelligence speaker, and other ten words were used for evaluation. Results: Both participants who participated in home training through artificial intelligence speakers improved their WA and DTW scores. This was more helpful in maintaining speech therapy when using an artificial intelligence speaker at home after speech therapy than when only receiving speech therapy. Both the speech language pathologist performing speech therapy and the subject"s guardians reported that home training by artificial intelligence speakers was effective. Conclusions: In this study, it was revealed that using WA and DTW parameters, an artificial intelligence speaker can be used at home as an alternative to articulation training therapists. As a result of the study, home training through artificial intelligence speakers helps maintain articulation ability.
