The number of special type workers is increasing every year according to the change of employment type. As a result, the number of accidents in special type workers is increasing. Safety and health education should be conducted for special type workers due to the revision of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. This study aims to examine the effects of safety and health education for special type workers through cost-benefit analysis. As a result, the cost-benefit ratio through safety and health education was higher than 1 in the five occupations in special type workers except for the Insurance agent. Therefore, it is reasonable to provide 2 hours of safety and health education for the special type of workers. However, the cost-benefit ratio through safety and health education is different according to the industry disaster decrease rate, customized safety and health education methods are needed according to the occupation of special type workers.
