This study was conducted to investigate the mediating effect of beauty-majoring Chinese international students’ ego-resilience on their major satisfaction and career maturity. A questionnaire was distributed to 420 beauty-majoring Chinese international students in a University located in Seoul to investigate the survey items including major satisfaction, career maturity, ego-resilience, and general characteristics. Bootstrap analysis was conducted using SPSS Process Macro to make frequency analysis, factorial analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis with the collected data. The results are as follows: As a result of verifying the mediating effect route of certainty, which is an influential factor on one of the mediating verification results of ego-resilience in the relationship between major satisfaction and career maturity, the relationship satisfaction was shown to mediate sociality and positivity, thus having a positive effect on certainty. Personal satisfaction mediated sociality, control, and positivity, thus having a positive effect on certainty. Curriculum satisfaction mediated positivity, thus showing a positive effect on certainty; the same result was shown with course satisfaction. Next, relationship satisfaction, of readiness, mediated positivity, thus showing a positive effect; personal satisfaction mediated control, thus showing a positive effect. Curriculum satisfaction mediated positivity, having a positive effect on readiness. Relationship satisfaction and personal satisfaction, of independence, mediated sociality, thus having a positive effect. Lastly, relationship satisfaction and personal satisfaction, of objective, mediated sociality, thus having a positive effect. Therefore, it is critical to research and develop an education method fit to Chinese international students for them to successfully achieve their purpose in studying abroad. Also, it is necessary to raise their career maturity so that they may return to their country and play a bridge role between Korea and China, as well as exercise their full value as a high-quality workforce by having jobs in the beauty industry in Korea or China. Also, it is considered that many social supports?personal counseling by the academic advisor, psychology program, etc.?are needed to raise one of the mediating effects, their ego-resilience.
