Recently, many crimes caused by dating violence have been reported. Accordingly, this study aims to prevent dating violence of self-destructive behaviors by identifying the relation and influencing factors between interpersonal intimacy and relational aggression, which are likely to have a direct effect on increasing dating violence, and need to develop strategy programs to prevent dating violence and prepare intervention plans, and forensic education intervention. It was attempted to present the necessary academic grounds. Final analysis were done using descriptive statistics, correlations, and multiple regression analysis by collecting data through a self report online questionnaire of the opposite sex and same-sex intimacy, relational aggression, and violence scale among heterosexual relationships among 196 university students living in Korea. In the stepwise multiple regression analysis to analyze factors affecting dating violence (F=113.69, p< .001) confidence (β= ?.11, p= .046) and leading relational aggression factors (β= .60, p< .001), affective relational aggression factors (β= .20, p< .001), and current heterosexuality (β= .10, p= .010) were significant influencing factors. The explanatory power value was 69.8%. As such, the leading relational aggression and affectionate relational aggression were the most important factors influencing dating violence
