The purpose of this study is to redefine concepts related to the expansion of relationships toward ego -the Others and communities, and to devise practical aspects of the school community as an ethical other community to prepare educational implications. For that purpose, Levinas’ theory was focused on the concept of ego, relationship with the Other, and ethical the Others’ community. It was found that the transition from human beings’ intelligence to human beings’ sensibility, which is the existing ego-concept, has a true subjectivity that can accommodate Others as they are. A school community where learners as human beings’ sensibility gather can be an ethical the Others’ community modeled after a moral discourse community, a community of responsibility for the Other, and a community of love for the Other. This study is meaningful in that it explored each concept of the learner’s relationship category and suggested practical measures for school education. However, follow-up studies such as specific student guidance methods are needed to operate an ethical the Others’ community.
