Recently, as the crisis of population decline and regional extinction has become more serious, especially in rural villages, the government is making efforts to improve the quality of life of residents by supporting basic living services in rural villages. In this study, an expert group was formed to evaluate the suitability and importance of each indicator of basic living services in rural villages, and through this, diagnostic indicators to be used to evaluate the level of basic living services in rural villages were selected. In addition, a spatial database of rural villages and basic living service facilities was constructed, and the following conclusions were obtained as a result of analyzing the accessibility from rural villages to basic living service facilities by section. First, in the case of regional base service facilities, accessibility to transportation, sports, and welfare facilities was found to be good, but accessibility to cultural facilities was found to be slightly low. Second, based on walking distance, accessibility to retail, care, education, health care, and living and cultural facilities in town and village living area service facilities was analyzed to be low. On the other hand, accessibility to town and village living area service facilities analyzed based on vehicle was analyzed to be good. Therefore, it was found that there was no major problem in using town/village living area service facilities when using a vehicle. Third, in the case of emergency service facilities, accessibility to crime prevention and emergency medical facilities was found to be adequate, but firefighting facilities were found to require additional facility expansion. In this study, the accessibility of basic living services was analyzed by indicator, and it is believed that this will enable policy establishment and decision-making to improve basic living services in rural villages.
