The objective of this study was to examine the levels of empathy, emotional intelligence, and nursing professional intuition among nursing students and to identify the factors influencing professional intuition. Data collection was carried out at two nursing schools in G Metropolitan City, involving students enrolled between May 14 and May 30, 2024. The data analysis included frequency analysis, mean and standard deviation calculations, independent sample t-tests, and one-way ANOVA, using the SPSS 25.0 software. Post hoc analysis was conducted using Pearson's correlation to explore the relationships between variables, and multiple regression analysis was employed to determine the predictors of nursing professional intuition. The results indicated that emotional intelligence (β= .53, p< .01) and empathy (β=.33, p< .01) were significant predictors of nursing students' professional intuition. The regression model demonstrated an explanatory power of 67.0% and was statistically significant (F=172.60, p< .01). Based on these findings, developing educational programs that foster empathy and enhance emotional intelligence through peer mentoring is recommended. Additionally, creating a supportive learning environment that promotes peer collaboration is essential for improving teamwork, communication, and emotional resilience among nursing students. The implementation of diverse educational programs to strengthen these competencies is required.
