The purpose of this study is to provide basic data necessary to improve the service quality of the child development center through the analysis of the importance and satisfaction of users of the child development center. To this end, a survey was conducted on a total of 268 users of five child development centers located in Busan, Changwon, Gimhae, and Jeju, including special sports, and the SPSS Window Version 23.0 program was used for data processing. In addition, frequency analysis was used to find out demographic characteristics, and Cronbach's ⍺ value was used to test the reliability of the questionnaire. Finally, a simple scatterplot graph was used to analyze the importance and satisfaction of the child development center using the IPA technique. The results are as follows.
First, it was found that there was a difference in importance and satisfaction between the factors of service quality at the Child Development Center.
Second, it was found that there are differences between the questions and satisfaction between children's development center service quality.
Third, the IPA matrix of service quality at the Child Development Center was found to be different between questions.
In conclusion, it was found that users of the Child Development Center were generally satisfied with the services provided. Among them, the items that users were satisfied with were in the order of neat appearance of teachers, modern facility supplies, in-time service provision, and designated service provision. In addition, the items that were not satisfied were in the order of convenient parking, safe facilities, pleasant spaces, and satisfaction with education costs. As a result of the IPA matrix analysis, it was found that operators of the Child Development Center should ensure safety and secure parking spaces in consideration of users' interests, and seek ways to improve them so that they do not feel burdened by education costs.
본 연구는 아동발달센터 이용자의 중요도, 만족도 분석을 통해 아동발달센터의 서비스 품질개선에 필요한 기초적인 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 부산, 창원, 김해, 제주 지역에 위치하고 특수체육이 포함된 아동발달센터 총 5곳의 이용자 268명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 자료처리는 SPSS Window Version 23.0 프로그램을 사용하였다. 또한 인구통계학적 특성을 알아보기 위해 빈도분석을, 설문지의 신뢰도 검정을 위해 Cronbach’s ⍺값을 이용하였다. 마지막으로 IPA 기법으로 아동발달센터에 대한 중요도와 만족도를 분석하기 위해 단순 산점도 그래프를 활용하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동발달센터 서비스 품질의 요인 간 중요도와 만족도는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아동발달센터 서비스 품질의 문항 간 중요도와 만족도는 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 아동발달센터 서비스 품질의 IPA 매트릭스는 문항 간 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 아동발달센터 이용자들은 제공받는 서비스에 대하여 전반적으로 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그 중 이용자가 만족하는 항목은 교사의 단정한 용모, 현대적인 시설용품, 시간 내 서비스제공, 정해진 서비스 제공 순으로 나타났으며 만족하지 않는 항목은 편리한 주차, 안전한 시설, 쾌적한 공간, 교육비의 만족 순으로 나타났다. IPA 매트릭스 분석 결과 아동발달센터 운영자는 이용자의 이익을 고려하여 안전성을 보장하고 주차공간을 확보해야 할 것이며, 교육비에 대해 부담을 느끼지 않도록 개선 방법을 모색해야 할 것으로 나타났다.
