The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the UTAUT2 model on users' information sharing intention and continuous usage intention within the context of tourism information services. To achieve this objective, we conducted a comprehensive review of the literature on the UTAUT2 model, focusing on information sharing intention and continuous usage intention, followed by an empirical study. Data were collected through a survey administered over one month in June 2024, targeting users of a tourism information service app specifically designed for visitors to the In-Cheon Open Port area. Out of 391 distributed questionnaires, 351 valid responses were obtained and analyzed. The data analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0, employing methods such as frequency analysis, factor analysis, and structural equation modeling(SEM). The analysis revealed that the modified UTAUT2 factors effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation, and personal information protection are significant predictors of users' information sharing intention. Additionally, it was found that information sharing intention has a significant positive effect on users' continuous usage intention of the tourism information service. These findings provide practical insights for professionals in the tourism information service industry, emphasizing how these key factors can be utilized to enhance user engagement and promote long-term usage. The study also addresses its limitations and offers recommendations for future research, aiming to contribute to the theoretical development of the field and the creation of more effective tourism information services.
