'Multi-family living house' is the housing type that has developed under the our condition of insufficient houses, and that is legislated for the effect of better residential environment and housing policy. Assuming that 'multi-family living houses' can be settled as a desirable urban housing type, this study purposed to propose the improvement measures of planning. It took some procedures as follows; 1) investigate and analyze the trends of 'multi-family living houses' and the character of occuping households. 2) evaluate existing situations and grasp the problems involved. 3) finally, propose some improvement measures of planning.
