Christian college is founded on two pillars which are Spiritual excellence and Academic excellence. These two pillars are the most crucial elements forming the identity of Christian college. These two pillars should be kept in balance and harmony in order to maintain the identity as the Christian college. This means that spiritual excellence and academic excellence should continuously interact one another in harmony. Spirituality implies human relationship with transcendental realm. Since it pursues transcendental values and world view, it is hard for human beings to understand its reality. However if we use the psychological method as the tool connecting mental realm with spiritual realm we can understand spirituality in visible way. The individual pattern of spirituality is closely related to the individual trait of character. This means that personal character molds it's own kind of spirituality and they are always interacting in human life. Thus if we understand the patterns of human character we can figure out the relative patterns of spirituality in visible way and we can use them for planning effective campus ministry. This article consists of four parts that are reasoning about the interrelationship between human spirituality and character and its effect in the field of campus ministry. At the first part, I reasoned about the relationship between human character and spirituality. At the next part, I introduced elements of human character and its relationship with spirituality. At the third part, 16 patterns of human character and its traits are introduced. At the final part, Patterns of character and spirituality of Korean university students are presented. With these final outcomes I chose three character patterns of high frequency and tried to articulate how-to skills of communication and the way of running programs and management of future campus ministry. I acknowledge that my points and suggestions at the issue in this article are not supposed to be absolute tools, but they might be corrected or modified by kind critics in the course of time.
