The process of training is necessary to be equipped for a good leader. In the essay, I would like to discuss on the developmental areas that a pastor is necessary to improve as a spiritual leader and the task of which a church leader must pursue in their ministry. The spiritual leader should be quipped largely on two areas, development of personality and development of ministry technique. For development of personality, first of all, sincerity, an obedient attitude and the gift of Word are necessary. For development of ministry technique, there are seven areas: technique of gaining trust, communication technique, conference proceeding technique, relationship technique, team building and management technique, conflict management technique, and stress management technique. When a pastor develops his or her personality and masters ministry tech-niques, he or she is naturallyestablished as a leader and easily carries out his or her tasks. Then the pastor can establish a vision for his or her community, accomplishhis or her mission completely, establish a clear system, and mentor the members of his or her community. Furthermore, the pastor can resolve the problems within the community and take care of his or her members, form the culture of his or her community, examine the state in progress and evaluate it. In a word, the leader must responsibly complete his or her mission and influences others to have same vision and motivate them to act upon the vision. Therefore, the leader must consistently make everyeffort in developing his or her personality and ministry techniques.
