This study investigated the theoretical, clinical ground and significance of child psychoanalysis of Melanie Klein who been regarded as the most brilliant, creative child analyst in the history of the psychoanalysis. M. Klein's clinical, analytic works gave us the deep and important insight into the pathology and internal world of children. She introduced the play technique and the many crucial analytical concepts
into the domain of child analysis. M. Klein emphasized the same analytical principles and attitude for the adult and child analysis. This approach is sharply contrasted to that of A. Freud in many respects, namely in the problems of the analytical attitude, transference, interpretation, unconscious phantasy and so on. A controversial between Klein and A. Freud was also the driving force for the further developments of the theory and the technique, not only in the field of child analysis, but also of the psychoanalysis in general. This paper tries to show the analytical principle and position of M. Klein in general, and to demonstrate that Klein's clinical, theoretical position was more convincing and better grounded than that of A. Freud's and, that with Lacan's reconstruction of the Freudian psychoanalysis is prepared the way to the structural interpretation of the Kleinian psychoanalysis which has been hitherto studied from the developmental perspective only.
