This study was primarily to investigate the factors related to professionality of social welfare bureaucrats in public who are responsible for social welfare in Jeollabuk-do Province, then to demonstrate the impact factors upon professional activities of public welfare officer by analyzing the relationship between the aforementioned factors. In the evaluation of degree of impact factors on professional activity, the most important variable was value factor(β=0.322, P＜0.001), the next was factor for the performance of duties(β=0.314. P＜0.01) and primary factor for inner ability(β=0.100, P=0.23) in the decrease order of βvalue. These results show the close relationship between professionality social welfare bureaucrats in public sector and value factors such as human dignity, sense of duty and accomplishment, thus the results of this study may elicit some clues for making up a unexplainable part by previous motivative and ability theories. To grow up professionalism of social welfare bureaucrats in public sector a chance for education should be increased and the target of this education must focus on encouraging a sense of duty, humanity and application of government policy. It is also essential for them to provide feeling on accomplishment, autonomy, guarantee for promotion and stable position, optimal salary, and reduction of responsible (covering) families per each social welfare bureaucrats in public sector.
