In the background carrying forward the sports exchanges and cooperation between South and North Kangwon-do, how to practice them is as follows :
First, The sports exchange and cooperation must get accomplished step by step.
Secondly, The winter sports exchange keeping pace with inviting and holding 2010 Winter Olympic Games dispersedly or jointly.
Thirdly, We must use the development stratage in such a border area as DMZ.
Fourthly, An international exchange in the East Sea Circle and Tourism Forum in East Asia are regained.
Fifthly, The international sports games such as Korea-open Chunchon International Taekwondo Championships have to be invited and hold.
Sixthly, The athletic meeting of people from Kangwon province, the athletic meeting from five north provinces and national sports festival have to be used.
Seventhly, To succeed and develop the national culture and to recover the national homogeneity, the folk games native to Korea have to be utilized.
Last, We must take advantage of tourism, culture, art and so on. it is throught that the practical method of an sports exchanges and cooperation between South and North Kangwon-do have to be realized variously in many parts.
