The Young Christian Federation of Kyeongseong diocese was established on June 3, 1922. The aim of the Federation was to inform the Catholicity and to help works which catholic churches were promoting under clergymen's guidance. Though the Federation had been founded, the associations who took part in were merely a dozen. The officers of the Federation were mostly the members of the young christian society in Seoul, many of them were connected with the educational field, they were representative christians who led the catholic church. As to the activities, there were the educational works, the publication of a Federation organ, the star, the attempt to found a hospital, charities, etc. But the Federation had been depressed in the mid-l930s, in the 1940s, it discontinued the activities.
Even though the activities of the Federation were mostly limited to affaires inside of the churches, its significances can be found in the view of leading and supporting works of the church which were stagnant, and being the group of the laymen for the whole of Kyeongseong diocese.
