The melodic structure of Korean traditional music is very important in its music because it has not harmony. I had insisted the melodic structure of korean traditional music have four stratigraphies. But I cannot have full assurance that there are no more than four stratigraphies, and how to find out the melodic structure of each stratigraphy. So I will analysis the simple melody of Jeongseon-Arari, Gangwon province folk song. And From the analytic study I will find the analytic method of the melodic structure in korean traditional music.
The rhythmic cycle structure(長短構造) of Jeongseon-Arari is 72 small beats, 24 beats, 8 small meters, 4meters, 1 rhythmic cycle(Jangdan 長短).

Ⅰ. 12 beats(1 small passage)×2 = 24 beats(1 passage. 1 Jangdan = 1 Rhythmic cycle)
Ⅱ. 6 beats(1 meter; Gag 脚)×2 = 12 beats(1 small passage)
Ⅲ. 3 beats(1 small meter)×2 = 6 beats(1 meter; 1 Gag 脚)
Ⅳ. 3 small beats(1 beat)×3 = 3 beats(1 small meter)
Ⅴ. 1 small beat(Jeonggan 井間)×3 = 1 beat(1 Daegang 大綱))
Ⅵ. 1 small beat(Jeonggan 井間)
Ⅶ. Grace note
Ⅷ. Tone Character(Vibration)

On each stratigraphy(Ⅰ~?) I find out structural note by the duration. Its result is the next table
