The order of this paper is as follows. First of all, the second chapter shows that the existence of " Asian Value", in an aspect of value, should be taken for granted as much as being accepted the specification of Asia. The third chapter reconfirms the meaning of Confucian-capitalism, criticizing Weber's orthodox theory which denies the Asian Value. The 4th chapter introduces "Culturology" as a basis of the third chapter. Many take a negative stance on "Cultural-determinism", but in this paper "Confucianism" will be described as a cultural foundation. The fifth chapter examines the Confucian factors melting in our daily economic life, accepting Confucianism and Confucian-capitalism. Especially it finds out how Confucianism has affected the economic development of Korea with exploring both positive and negative value of familism. This chapter particularly redefines conglomerates as the forms of enterprise which reflects familism. Although it is partially accepted that Korean economy has developed according to the universal principle of world capitalism, the sixth chapter stresses that the crisis of IMF(International Monetary Fund) is basically caused by the global capitalization. Therefore this aims to rediscover and confirm the Asian model of economic development to confront the global capitalization in East Asia. The seventh chapter concludes that the positive factor of Asian Value should be encouraged to develop as the alternative to the global capitalization.
