By reviewing works of Munjang magazine(1939. 2~1941. 4) relatively less studied, this paper traces the change of Park Taewon's literary trends. First Park, in a novel 〈Golmok-an; inside of the alley〉, made sharp criticism for the Act of the entrance system of middle school, announced August 31, 1939. The new Act for collecting students included a physical evaluation unit which is not regulated before, the main purpose of whom was to increase the combat ability of the students, expected to apply the volunteer army. Park criticized war time policy of Japan in colonial Korea by describing the dark facade of the low-class. Second, since having published 〈Golmok-an〉, Park, however, lost the sense of humor and warm hearted eyes on the life of Korean People under the colonial domination. His narrative voice changed from the polyphony to the monophony. The one is a voice of Park's modernism novels, but rather, the other is a voice of park's popular novel presenting an affectless description of the metropolitan life, such as Seoul. His professional writer’s character was well revealed in his novel 〈Aegyeong: the love story〉, sketching the love affair of the youth in Seoul. By describing verbal life of bilingual user (Korean and Japanese language), he exposed that Korean was colony of Japan for the frist time in his works. Third, Park continually published 〈Asea-ui Yeomyeong: dawn of the Asia〉, describing the detail process of Wangjingwei’s giving up anti-Japanese war, and of establishing Japan's puppet government in Nanjing and cooperating with Japan. In his novel 〈Asea-ui Yeomyeong〉, he introduced Wang's statement, December 27th, 1938, which stressed the necessity of self?autonomy in the boundary of Great-Asia Prosperity. By introducing Wang’s above statement, Park could be said to present his outlook for the future of colonial Korea as well. That is to say, Korea also should be able to obtain self-autonomy as a member of Japanese federal system. Forth, the autobiography trilogy published before and after 〈Asea-ui Yeomyeong〉 demonstrated that Park's interest moved into writing for a living, whose change is a result of influence by the compromise to Japan and real life.
