The purpose of this study was to examine differential learning effect of feedback frequency on complexity of task. Used tasks were 3m(simple task) and 5m(complexity task) golf putting. The subjects were forty middle school male-students. There were four groups consisted of ten boys in each group. The four groups were S-50%(simple task, 50% frequency), S-100%(simple task, 100% frequency), C-50%(complexity task, 50% frequency), and C-100%(complexity task, 100% frequency). Subjects performed total 90 trials(15 trials × 6 block) in acquisition phase. After 10 minutes and 24 hours, they performed immediately retention test and delayed retention test in each 30 trials(15 trials × 2 block). Dependent variables were AE and E. Each of acquisition and retention phase data was analyzed in a 2(task) × 2(frequency) × 6(block) or 2(task) × 2(frequency) × 2(block) ANOVA with repeated measures on the last block. The results of this study could be as follows. (a) In the generalized analysis of all error score(AE, E), subjects showed that complexity task's errors was higher than simple task's errors. This results showed that experiment design connected with the difficulty of task was appropriate. (b) In the generalized analysis of aquisition phase, every groups gradually decreased their error score as progression of practice. (c) In the generalized analysis of delayed retention test, interaction of task-frequency was significant. The results indicated that it was no difference between learning effects of 50% frequency and 100% frequency in simple task, whereas; 100% frequency more effective than 50% frequency in putting skill learning of complexity task.
