In this article I studied on the Yeolseonggijangtonggi 列聖誌狀統記 and Yeolseonghubigimun 列聖后妃誌文, that is the Han-geul silgi derl with Kings and Queens, and the unique volume in Jangseogak 藏書閣. As a result of this research, we got to know that the character of materials, and the general contents, and the narrative pattern, and the character shape of Kings and Queens in Joseon Dynasty.
Yeolseonggijangtonggi and Yeolseonghubigimun is boigraphies of Kings (from Mokjo 穆祖 to Seongjong 成宗) and Queens(from Sinuiwanghu 神懿王后 to Jeongseongwanhu 貞聖王后) in Joseon Dynasty. This biographies were wroted that translated classical Chinese into Hangul. Because of this translation that educated Royal Court women and handed down as a royal family kajeon 家傳.
These two book narrated jimun 誌文, haengjang 行狀, sindobimyeong 神道碑銘, sasil 事實, kimun 記文, various chaekmun 冊文 etc. These most prose composed by state minister, and a part prose composed by King - in Queen's boigraphies case. The composers objectively narrated public career, and made praise the prime object.
The ancient times Chinese holy man like as Yo 堯, Sun 舜, Mun 文, Mu 武, Jugong 周公, Kongja 孔子 were reflected as ideal King. The typical model of like this pattern in Joseon Dynasty was a King Sejong 世宗. And, Inhyoenwanghu 仁顯王后 presented to ideal Queen in Joseon Dynasty.
