The discipleship of the Revelation is, as of another becks in the New Testament, to follow Jesus. But the focus of discipleship is different from them. It derives from the Christology of the Revelation, which was produced in its own context. The Revelation was written under the Roman occupation that had oppressed the christianity politically, economically and religiously. The Christian churches had to choose between the Roman Emperor and Jesus Christ as the object of their worship.
In this situation, John wrote the Revelation to the Church that 'the victim is the victor, like Jesus. That is, 'the Lamb who was slain' is the true Victor, and the core of discipleship is to follow the Lamb(Rev. 5:1-14).
To follow the Lamb that was slain as Victor is to fight against the Lamb's enemy, the dragon and the beast, who are the rulers of earth. There are four ways to win this war(14:4-5):
First, to keep the purity. not to worship the dragon and the beast.
Second, to follow the Lamb far up to the place of martyrdom.
Third, to be an example as first fruits for those who belong to God and the Lamb.
Fourth, to be honesty and blameless.
In short, the discipleship of the Revelation is to be faithful to the Lamb, even to the point of death.
