At a main subject, Jang Hyuk Chu which came out with the main subject for the Japanese literary world brilliantly has considered the process from proletarian thought to the pro-Japanese writer who sees to Korean writer based on the speech and conduct and the situation of time which became [ which comes to cooperate in a colonial policy of Japan ] an opportunity.
It was based on writing in Japanese at the beginning which made the literary world Jang Hyuk Chu which is the first Korean writer who appears in a Japanese literary world at first was based on writing in Japanese, and the clear creation purpose of self literature.
It is because I began to wish to establish the status in the inside of a Japanese literary world as a one writer, without a "Korean writer" being entitled by him himself.
Since Jang Hyuk Chu came out for the Korean literary world, it did not necessarily come out for the literary world of Tokyo, and it is set in a Korean literary world.
That is, while achieve a debut in a Korean literary world and being evaluated by the literary world of Tokyo to which the man who was completely obscurity crossed the sea suddenly, the rival consciousness raw [ intense ] to a Korean literary world was produced.
The Korean literary world was visible for Jang Hyuk Chu with the petty thing which was inferior to the Japanese literary world to the last.
The turning point of such Jang Hyuk Chu literature can be regarded as 1935 which caused the "literary world plague-bacillus" dispute.
The cause of this dispute was by the conceit of the Jang Hyuk Chu literature which considered that a Korean literary world and its writer were things lower than themselves who is playing an active part in a Japanese literary world and there, and haughty character. But, the reason for having been also ignorantly over the Korean literature of the literary world people of Japan which flattered him as "a writer representing Korea" cannot be disregarded there, either. In my idea, imagination of since it was cut by the further success-in-life avarice in a literary world when the wave of militalization of Japan, it is considered that would follow the same route as the "literary world plague-bacillus" dispute in 1933 to 1935 which also considered pro-Japanese sentimentalization for Jang Hyuk Chu this time also begins to have attained to literary men is realized.
