This research analyzed how the source that can change the basic social norm discriminating women in Cameroon was imposed to women, to what method political participation of Cameroon women was improved or restricted by these effects and how the results were revealed. This research is a current view of study that checks the process and actual condition of political participation of Cameroon women in the way of national unification from when they became independent in 1960 to the time democratization operated in 1990. Although sexual discrimination existed in traditional society of Cameroon, role sharing between men and women was basically valued in the community. Playing a role not only in reproduction but as the core of village economy maintaining the community as well, the social importance of women was no less valuable than that of men. But these roles were regarded as mere home-worker, being ignored in the colonial period and in the process of nation construction after independence. Especially, in the process of national unification, the political party and nation fabricated or guided social evolution by playing role as a protector of society and women through unifying all the women's organizations. Thus, this kind of women policy made it difficult, by emphasizing practical profits of total women more than some characteristic profits, to approach the source that can make women compete with men. So, as a result, the political party and nation have rationalized institutionally superiority of men more than have changed men's domination over women which traditional society of Cameroon basically had. Eventually, the women's problem which is a dynamic element of Cameroon society seems to be hard to be solved in a short period in the view that social or cultural problem should be preferentially solved. The fmal solution of sexual discrimination seems to be sought by women's political participation in patriarchal nation structure through far more spread institutional security so as to dissolve women's inequality. Not because there isn't personal ability or desire in women's political and social participation but because it is hard for women to approach the source which can make women act socially and politically.
