The purpose of this study was to show the effects of the balance training on the bowlers' performance using kybounder. There were 14 collegeate bowlers participating in this study and were divided into two groups-7 subjects were assigned in the experimental group performing the balance training and 7 subjects were assigned in the control group not performing the balance training. The experiment was done for 12 weeks, and to verify the efficiency of this training, the balance and performance of both groups were measured before and after 12-week experiment. The 7 subjects in the experimental group were directed to be trained with basic training and the balance training using kybounder and the 7 subjects in the control group were directed to be trained only with basic training. To analyze the data, SPSS Window version 12.0 program was used. Independent-samples t-test was carried out to analyze the difference between groups and paired-samples t-test was carried out to analyze the difference within groups before and after the 12-week experiment. The significance level a was fixed on 0.5. There was an attentive result in this experiment - the balance training helped improve the bowlers' performance. Based on this result and recognizing the importance of the balance training, I would most likely be helpful by developing variety of balance training programs so that many of the sport teams may put the balance training into practice. It is thought that the synergistic effect will be showed when the balance training is worked along with the existing performance improvement training.
