?;?;The emotional labor is more important in the hotel service sector than in other sectors for intangibility, inseparability, and heterogeneity. Most manager believe that the friendliness and good cheer of employees are strongly related to customer satisfaction and increase customer orientation. Emotional labor, generally defined as act of expressing organizationally desired emotions during service transactions. Whereas surface involves ‘pushing down’ one’s authentic expression of self in favour of an emotional mask, deep acting involves ‘pumping up’ by trying to bring the required and one’s true feelings info alignment. This study places the focus on the structural relationship among surface acting, deep acting, emotional exhaustion, and customer orientation of employees in hotel corporations. To achieve a purpose of this study, it builded up a model research and a hypothesis, and then examined the hypothesis. Used statics package SPSS 14.0 and AMOS 5.0 for analysis. The results are summarized as follows. First, surface acting has positive impact on emotional exhaustion. Second, deep acting has positive impact on emotional exhaustion. Third, emotional exhaustion has negative impact on customer orientation. Finally I suggested the summary, the implications and the limitations of the research results with the future tasks.
