The perfect system of the religion principles tell us the high-level belief of the dominant class at Bulkuk Temple. All the religion principles are completed into the total artwork of Buddhist’s country. It is because the architecture was enlisted into the World Culture Legacy.
In contrast to it, the remains of Buddhist legacy in Namsan as peoples’s worship places were scattered into poor features, especially at Buddhist Rock. Bulkuk Temple is contrast to Buddhist Rock, for the religion of the dominant class is set against that of the ruled class. So we can know the difference of lives compared to the religions of both classes.
After the comparing projects of Bulkuk Temple and Buddhist Rock, we can grasp the characteristic features as following. Bulkuk Temple would be a supreme architecture which has reflected the religious principles of dominant class as an artifice temple, while Buddhist Rock can be a natural temple embossingly carved Buddhist feature and his apostles, which represent the meaning of salvation of the folk people as a natural temple.
Bulkuk Temple made the earthly world onto the most beautiful celestial beauty of arts, while Buddhist Rock render the earthly world into the warm-heart old superior art of beauty. If Bulkuk Temple represent the perfect objective linear streamline of Buddhist ideal country, Buddhist Rock specifically represent the mind principles of going Buddhist country in a streamline of people’s hearts.
