"Kinetic linguistic approaches to the motions of Korean traditional dances" can be mainly summarized into two categories in order to establish its methodology for the systemetic categoriztion of Korean dances as a subsequent post-project.
Firstly, it will be necessary to clearly verify its established category and systemization among Korean traditional music and dance. Especially the concept of "maruchae" will be clue to the verification. Secondly, in order to research the general motions confused and rhythmed with dance and mimes the methodology for kinetic linguistic approaches need to be complemented and extended more flexibly.
The departure point of studying traditional dances, which have been rhythmed in the motions of life and typed in the history of people again. This means that it should be the departure point of research to describe and categorize systemetically concrete features through their forms in internalized forms, not excluding its backgrounds of social, cultural, and mental history. Once the various meaningful backgrounds cross each other on these bases, its "meaning" such as principles of form and aesthetic characteristics(imagine or feelings like theme) will clearly be revealed.
As a result, "Kinetic linguistic approaches to the motions of Korean traditional dances" will take a first step toward a theory of dance forms and its hermeneutics.
