The purpose of this study is to examine the trainee"s satisfaction degree regarding the trainee"s particular variables and the type of guidance of the Taekwon-do coach by properly
arranging and analyzing the current general type of guidance of the coach. In this study, a survey has been carried out with taking total 222 number of trainees aged under 13 years old as an object, sampling the every applicable gymnasium that accommodates more than 80 trainees per each gym being registered at the Korean Takwon-do Association as of 2007.
As a result of this study, the following conclusion has been obtained by utilizing the statistical analysis including mean and SD, t-test, ANOVA and the regression analysis:
First, when the trainees were instructed by the gym director rather than the ordinary instructors, comparatively high level of satisfaction degree of the trainees for the coach and the program as per each coaches was shown with resulting in statistically meaningful difference(p<.001).
Second, as a result of analyzing the satisfaction degree of the trainees for the coaches and the program as per each gender distinction, higher degree of satisfaction was shown from the female trainees rather than male ones, resulting in statistically meaningful difference (p<.05).
Third, according to the satisfaction degree of the trainees as per each age group, it was revealed that the age group of 8 years old was the highest in its satisfaction degree with resulting in statistically negligible difference.
Fourth, in the grade of 3 poom and over, satisfaction degree showed the highest with resulting in statistically negligible difference.
As a result of analyzing the relations between the type of guidance of the coaches and the satisfaction degree of the trainees, satisfaction for the coaches of the lower variables of the trainee"s satisfaction showed 33.6% of the explanatory power and the satisfaction degree for the coaches was acknowledged highly depending on the social hull forms.
Regarding the program satisfaction degree, it was found that 30.8% of the explanatory power was shown and as the social hull form is acknowledged more higher, so does the program satisfaction.
