The purpose of this research was investigate to the effect of correlation between plasma leptin concentration and metabolic syndrome’s risk factors for 8weeks of exercise to high-fat diet induced obese rats. Rats were randomly assigned into chow, high-fat diet (HF) and HF+exercise (HF+EX) groups. Exercise training was loaded on the treadmill 5 days for 8 weeks. There are the conclusion through the above results. 1. Body weight and abdominal fat pad mass were increased by high-fat diet compared with chow diet, and exercise training significantly reduced these levels indicating its anti-obese effect. 2. Plasma triglyceride, total-cholesterol and glucose concentrations were increased by respectively in HF diet compared with chow diet group, and these increased returned to the level of chow group by exercise. 3. Plasma leptin concentration was increased by high-fat diet compared, and exercise training significantly reduced these levels. 4. There was correlation between plasma leptin and these metabolic syndrome’s risk factors showed correlation with following factors with different extents; body weight with highest correlation, then plasma glucose level, abdominal fat weight, plasma insulin, triglyceride and total cholesterol, in order. These results showed that exercise training on the treadmill recovered hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia and hyperinsulinernia induced by high-fat diet for 8 weeks.
