Despite of remarkable development and quantitative growth of coffee market and cafe franchise systems failed to accomplish qualitative growth through sustainable relationship between franchiser and franchisee.
Therefore, I aimed to develop evaluation index through the empirical approach to the expert groups.
Through empirical studies, I finally drew total 48 indices such as five management-related indices, another five contract system-related indices, four business preparation-related indices, another four head office"s marketing-related indices, six franchisee support-related indices and another six franchise management manual-related indices, and four training-related indices and six relation sustainability-related indices, as well as franchisee homogeneity-related indices and customer adjustability-related indices.
The developed index can be used to set a basis for qualitative growth of coffee market and also suggest an orientation for further both practical and academic studies.
