This study sampled obese male college students with above 27 of BMI who were attending to W university, I city of Jeollabukdo and obtained independence sample with 10 of AA+AT and 16 of TT according to obesity gene polymolphism. The exercise program was performed four times a week for 12 weeks with the following intensities: 45~55%HRmax for 1~6 weeks and 55~65%HRmax for 7~12 weeks. After the dance sport program, changes of variables, Cytokine(IL-6, TNF-α) and Insulin(IGF-1) were analysed and the results are presented as follows: First, in respect to FTO gene polymolphism, one subject had AA-homozgyous(1.4%), 9 ones had ATheterozgyous(34.6%), and 16 ones had TT-heterozgyous(61.5%). The emergence frequency of T allomorph was high: 62.5% of T allelomorph and 34.7% of A allomorph. Second, in changes of Cytokine, IL-6 was significantly increased and TNF-α was significantly decreased in the group of TT according to the increase of exercise period, respectively (p<.01). Third, in respect to metabolic hormones, IGF-1 was significantly increased in TT group than AA+AT group according to the increase of exercise period (p<.01). To sum up the results, AA+AT group with obesity genes received more influence from genes according to cytokine and metabolic hormones than TT group. It is suggested that the variation according to FTO polymolphism should be considered for an exercise program, but future extensive studies are needed for more definite results.
