Report Errors
Musical, a composite art of dance, music, and performance, is a rapidly growing cultural industry. Despite its growth, little research on musicals with the perspective of marketing has been reported. Those that were conducted mostly tried to find marketing factors from external conditions instead of the performing art itself. This research intends to find the influential factors for audience satisfaction from inside the musical performing art. In this paper, the focus inside performing arts is on text, stage, directing and audience. Directing not only involves a director and actors but also refers to all stage elements such as setting sound costume, etc. These factors can be ordered by the extent of their influence on audience"s viewing satisfaction. The result of this paper would ultimately support investigation of the growth of domestic musical industry.
