Interest in the positive effects of humor in the education field is increasing. However, Korean physical education culture is customarily rigid and focused on authority; this unique view has not yet been discarded. To meet social perception changes and to enhance the educational power and competitiveness of general physical education, are required. Hence, this research empirically examined educational effects of humor on general physical education in It identified the relationship between a sense of humor in college general physical education instructors, rapport, class satisfaction, and intent for continuous exercise. K university students in Gyeonggi material for this purpose after setting a population of 420 people, depending on the convenience sampling sample extraction, a survey was conducted. The 389 valid samples of these were used in the final analysis utilizing SPSS 21.0 program, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, simple or multiple regression analysis was conducted in accordance with the correlation and the independent variable. The research results indicated that a sense of humor in college general physical education instructors has significant effects on rapport, class satisfaction, and students’ intent for continuous exercise; class satisfaction is also a positive predictor of intent for continuous exercise. Based on these findings, related theories and previous research were discussed. Research limitations and future research directions were presented.
