This study is the color plan for sports stadium that has a big scale in the city. In first, it draws the concept through its color plan and sets up how to apply the concept to huge space like stadium. The scope of this study is to analyze and design the color in the baseball stadium. It is important how to express the brand identity for professional sports team and locality in the specific baseball stadium. It should be a good guideline for color plan in a huge scale sports facility and show the method to design space color-based on entire color concept from architectural concept.
A variety of color plan in a baseball stadium is from a variety of several space that has much function and circulation system. A color design of baseball stadium is analyzed both its environmental color from nature and culture and brand identity from the image of Daegu city and Samsung lions. This color scheme can express the color concept as the location of the space and scope in the stadium. And we should make a color plan for getting the energetic and lively space.
Sports stadium should be understood its specific function and circulation on detail. It has a harmony among the natural environment, artificial environment and architectural building and exposes its color concept and application.

본 연구에서는 대규모 스포츠시설의 색채계획의 콘셉트 도출과 도출된 색채 콘셉트를 어떻게 공간에 적용하는가에 대한 연구를 위하여 대상을 선정하여 구체적인 색채계획사례와 과정을 제시하고자 한다. 특히, 프로구단 전용구장을 중심으로 지역과 구단의 브랜드 아이덴티티를 색채계획에 적극적으로 반영하고 색채 콘셉트 도출과정을 적용하여 결론을 도출하고자 한다. 본 연구는 대규모 스포츠 시설의 색채계획에 있어 브랜드아이덴티티와 공간의 성격을 고려한 색채계획의 구체적인 사례의 제시를 대구야구장을 중심으로 진행하고자 한다.
대규모 스포츠시설은 그 규모와 제한된 수로 지역의 아이덴티티를 분명히 반영하고 스포츠 시설이 가진 기능을 충분히 이해하고 진행하여야 한다. 따라서 거대한 건축물의 스케일과 공간규모를 고려하여 우선적으로 색채 콘셉트를 적용할 공간범위를 정할 필요가 있다. 지역의 환경색채 분석을 통하여 자연경관과 인공경관, 건축물이 조화를 가지고 도시에 드러날 수 있는 방향 설정이 요구되며 뿐만 아니라 활력이 넘치고 생동감 있는 색채 계획을 하여 스포츠시설의 정체성을 잃지 않도록 한다. 특히, 연구의 대상 사례인 대구야구장의 경우, 대규모 스포츠 시설이 가지는 브랜드 아이덴티티는 색채 계획의 기본적인 콘셉트 설정의 근거가 된다. 대구광역시가 가지는 색채이미지와 구단이 가지는 색채이미지를 환경 색채도출 결과와 함께 적극적으로 반영하였다. 도출된 색채 콘셉트는 건축물의 외관, 내부, 외부에 적용하였다.
따라서 본 연구의 색채 콘셉트 적용 대상인 대규모 스포츠시설 특히, 프로구단을 가진 전용 구장의 경우에는 지역과 프로구단의 아이덴티티를 분석하고 주변의 환경색채를 고려하여 진행한다. 또한 색채 콘셉트 적용의 공간 범주 설정을 색채 계획 초기 단계에서부터 명확히 하여 동선 등 기능을 고려한 색채 계획을 기반을 마련하는 것이 유리하며 이것은 향후 증축과 개축 혹은 다양한 변화에 일관성 있게 대응할 수 있는 가능성을 열어준다. 본 연구는 전용구장 규모의 대구야구장의 색채 콘셉트 적용 사례 연구를 통하여 최근 많은 수요와 관심이 대두되는 대규모 스포츠시설의 색채계획의 적극적인 방향을 제시할 수 있다.
