The purpose of this research is to understand the school lives deeply where a normal students turn into a student athlete through observing the process using Grounded Theory. To accomplish this, 5 male and 4 female student athletes who were affiliated in C·D middle school in B metropolitan city were selected as an informant and Critical Incident Technique and In-depth Interviewing were conducted as a profiling. According to Grounded Theory suggested by Strauss & Corbin(1990), Profiling consisted of Coding Paradigm to draw a concept and investigate relations among them. After analyzing collected data, the difference of juggling both study and exercise was turned out to be a major phenomenon, and the perception of changed school lives was a main reason. In this circumstances, the disturbance of study and athletic club activities were also reflected. In addition, informants were trying to solve this problem through institutional influence and experiences of school lives which are conciliatory conditions. Aggressive active, passive active and negative active were appeared as the Action/Interaction strategy. Finally, the informants were trying to overcome the difference by appreciating the importance of study in the process of adjustment to the school lives from a normal student to a student athlete.
