This study was performed, the effects of EPOC difference on the chases of blood lactate and ammonia concentration in recovery from intense exhaustive exercise. The results were as follow : EPOC of active recovery showed a significant higher(P$lt;0.05) value than passive recovery during 30 min of recovery phase after intense exhaustive exercise with maximal exercise intensity in both athletes and nonathltes. Heart rates of active recovery shod a, significant higher(P$lt;0.05) value than passive recovery at 15 min of recovery phase after intense exhaustive exercise with maximal exercise intensity, but it was no significant differences between athletes and nonathltes. Fingertip blood lactate concentration of active recovery showed a significant higher(P$lt;0.05) value than passive recovery at 15 min of recovery phase in both athletes and nonathltes. In passive recovery, fingertip blood lactate concentration of athletes showed a significant lower(P$lt;0.05) value than nonathletes at 15 min of recovery phase. Recovery rates of venous blood lactate and ammonia concentration of active recovery showed a significant higher(P$lt;0.05) value than passive recovery at 30 nun of recovery phase after intense exhaustive exercise with maximal exercise intercity in both athletes and nonathltes, and these values of athletes showed a significant higher than nonathletes in both passive and active recovery. In these results, it could be suggested that the increasing tendency of EPOC acted to-the active recovery of blood lactate and ammonia concentration during recovery phase from intense exhaustive exercise.
