The objective of this study is to perform Capston design education focusing on convergent creativity and teamwork communication of lesson participants to experience high-quality experiences and satisfaction by applying the smart office system to users of the existing work space through creative convergence Capston design lesson. Through the convergence education of IT-design-humanities area in the lesson process of Capston design as a specialized major subject, the problem-solving ability necessary to the smart work space applying creative space design & technology was intensively induced. Through the multilateral data collection necessary to the composition of future office space and also relevant small group activities, the specific technology was supported for the validity of its practical application and the realization of outcomes of Capston design through joint lesson with a industrial practitioner in the interior architecture design area. Selecting a subject area of the project, it was composed of three teams. Through the topic suitable for the purpose in each area, the performance process was instructed through the realization of creative ideas and cooperation. In the results of this study, this case of Capston design smart office education verified the improvement of creativity, practical work ability, and teamwork of participants through the lesson process. All the processes such as project design, production, and evaluation could be directly performed through mutual cooperation between students and industrial practitioner.
