Korea entered an aging society in 2000, and as of 2017, the elderly population accounted for 13.8%. In addition, the elderly population of 2030 will exceed 20%, and it is predicted that we will enter into a super-aged society. In 2017, the population aged between 50 and 65 recorded 22.5% and it is a generation that has a great social impact. However, the number of welfare-homes for the elderly population is currently insufficient at 0.3% of the total elderly population. The first baby boom generation, which is classified as a major elderly population in the future, has a different lifestyle than the previous generation. They are experiencing social upheavals and their lifestyles are also different. Therefore, it is anticipated that the preference factors and services of the elderly welfare housing are diversified. We need to understand the lifestyle of diverse baby boomers and give them options to prepare for the upcoming aging society. As a survey method, we distributed 110 questionnaires related to the lifestyle and the preference of the elderly welfare-house for the baby boomers and collected 99 copies. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed by SPSS statistical analysis and their lifestyle and preference factors were analyzed and the results were significant. The survey found that people with futuristic thinking were the most frequent, and they chose medical services and leisure services as the most important occupancy factors. On the contrary, they have a smallest concern about the security and prefer more about the community systems that they can enjoy it.
