The purpose of this study was to investigate the causal relationships among adolescents’ aggression, cyber-delinquency, and status delinquency by focusing on the mediating role of cyber-delinquency in the relationship between aggression and status delinquency and the moderating role of gender differences in levels of influence in the causal model. The study used the data collected from the second, third, and fourth wave of the middle school students cohort (N=2,351) of the Korean Children-Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS). The findings of the study indicated that there is a partial mediating effect of cyber-delinquency in the relationship between adolescents’ aggression and status delinquency. The study also found the existence of gender difference in the levels of influence in the study’s causal model. Implications for the interventions and services issues are discussed.
