The purpose of this research is to explore the approach of early childhood history education centered on living history. Questions to be explored in this research are as follows: What are the contents in the living history centered on early childhood history education? What are application methods in the living history centered on early childhood history education? We reviewed and explored preceding research related to history education and living history. The results of this study were as follows: First, the contents of living history centered on early childhood history education include daily life areas such as eating and clothing habits, housing, family and leisure life, activities of the community, evryday goods and life customs. Second, the teaching-learning stage of life history based on early childhood history education to connect with history, to inquire history, to reenact history and to evaluate it. The practices and application methods in the life history include teaching-learning methods using objects, teaching-learning methods using illustration, historical narrative, people resources, and picture timelines. Thus, this research helps to increase the content area of early childhood history education and propose teaching-learning methods of life history centered on early childhood history education proper for children`s developmental features. Therefore, it has various suggestions about early childhood history education in the early childhood education field.
