This study is about the effective connection between the teacher recruitment examination and the curriculum of teaching profession in college education. First, 2014-2018 Chinese teacher recruitment examinations were analyzed with a revised version of the evaluation standards and elements which are presented in Korea Institute for Curriculum and Education(2008). Based on the results of the analyses, the number of questions, which are related to pedagogical knowledge, tends to increase. In addition, even though the questions are asking about the subject knowledge, the use of the texts related to pedagogical knowledge tends to increase as well. This situation means that the discussion of this paper plays an important role in helping students who prepare to take the teacher recruitment examination. This paper also shows the outline of the current curriculum of teaching profession in college education and points out the problems. Based on the discussion, some suggestions are made in this paper, in order to improve the effective connection between the teacher recruitment examination and the curriculum of teaching profession in college education.
